Projection mapping, also known as video mapping and spatial augmented reality, is a projection technology used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped, into a display surface for video projection.
Its often used for car launches( projecting graphic content to full size cars) and for projecting graphics in to buildings using high lumen projectors.
3D Trick Art or 3D Art or Optical Art can be dated 2000 years back. In this art technique, the artist creates realistic images so as to create optical illusions that depicts the objects in three dimensions. This art form was used in number of western paintings and especially on the ceiling paintings. The style used in this type of art is known as trompe l’oeil which is a French term means ‘deceive the eye’. This technique of art is often used in murals paintings.
